About the Job

This is a Pastry Cook II position at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island, a luxury resort located on Amelia Island Parkway in Florida. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking, and serving food to guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.
  • None license or certification.
