About the JobThis is a Pastry Cook II position at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island, a luxury resort located on Amelia Island Parkway in Florida. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking, and serving food to guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience.
- None license or certification.
