Position Overview: RN Telemetry Per Diem Tier II Nights
As a registered nurse, you will deliver direct patient care in alignment with the established policies, procedures, and protocols of our healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee patient care plans, ensuring they are implemented effectively.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions as necessary.
- Act as the primary coordinator among various disciplines to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
Assessment: The RN employs a systematic approach to gather and analyze comprehensive data about the patient, which is essential for delivering quality nursing care. This assessment encompasses physiological, psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.

Problem Identification: This involves the nurse's clinical judgment regarding the patient's response to actual or potential health issues.
Planning and Outcomes: Following assessment and problem identification, the nurse collaborates with the patient and family to establish measurable and achievable goals, both short- and long-term. This information is documented in the patient's care plan for accessibility by all healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care.

Implementation: Nursing care is delivered according to the care plan, ensuring continuity of care during hospitalization and in preparation for discharge. All care provided is documented in the patient's medical record.

Qualifications for the RN Telemetry Per Diem Tier II Nights Position:
Licensure/Certification:
Required: Valid Arizona Nursing License or compact state license with the ability to obtain Arizona licensure within 30 days.
Required Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Certification: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), or other certifications as required by the department.
Education:
Required: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Work Experience:
Required: None.
