Job Summary:

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations and providing exceptional patient care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic MRI examinations in accordance with prescribed standards and protocols.
  • Provide patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the examination process.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient examinations and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, preferably in MRI.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R) or certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Advanced certification by the ARRT in MRI (MR) is preferred.
