  • Possess the necessary subject matter expertise and teaching methodologies to cater to the diverse requirements of all learners.
  • Exemplify outstanding classroom practices and provide mentorship to fellow educators, encouraging reflective practices and enhancing their professional capabilities.
  • Offer specialized guidance on content, processes, and strategies that will influence both individual and collective professional development.
  • Oversee and mentor one or more student teachers.
  • Assist colleagues in utilizing student performance data to inform instructional strategies aimed at achieving targeted improvements in student learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a classroom educator may encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Direct instruction for groups and individual students.
  • Contributing to the design, execution, and assessment of a specific curriculum area or educational program within the institution.
  • Carrying out additional teaching-related and organizational tasks as directed by the School Principal.
  • Engaging in activities such as parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and school events.
  • Performing other supervisory duties that are not directly related to teaching.

Applicants must be currently registered or eligible for registration with the relevant teaching authority and possess qualifications or demonstrated experience in the specified curriculum areas for this role.
