Phlebotomy Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our team at Labcorp. As a Phlebotomy Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of phlebotomists and overseeing the daily operations of our patient service centers and designated client locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of phlebotomists to ensure efficient and effective patient service delivery
• Monitor and analyze daily workflow and productivity metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and communication
• Provide coaching and training to phlebotomists to enhance their skills and performance
• Manage and maintain accurate records and reports to track performance and compliance
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care and service

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a healthcare or laboratory setting
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
