We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Catering Assistant to join our team at Baines Endowed Primary School. As a key member of our catering service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, healthy meals to our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the dining area for service, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our students.
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food and beverages, adhering to our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Clean all equipment and catering areas, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.

What We Are Looking For

  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and use your initiative to ensure the smooth operation of our catering service.
  • Good customer care skills, with a focus on providing excellent service to our students and staff.
  • Previous catering and food preparation experience is desirable, but not essential.

Working Hours and Conditions

This is a part-time position, working 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only. The hours are variable, depending on school meal uptake.
