Job Overview

About the Role

This Nurse position offers a chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing routine and complex care to patients with varying needs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, ensuring that each individual receives high-quality treatment and attention.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, social, cultural, spiritual, and development needs, using critical thinking skills to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses, to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness of treatment.
  • Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Evaluate the care and treatment provided to patients, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred.
  • BLS certification required; RN License in state of employment or compact.
