SAP Implementation Specialist

About the Role
This position is part of Abbott's Heart Failure Division, where we're developing solutions to diagnose, monitor, and manage heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that the data and processes that drive the HF divisional planning system are correct and that planners at different locations are able to use the system to plan manufacturing, inventory & distribution to support HF sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP solutions to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business needs, translating them into technical specifications.
- Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage and optimize SAP system performance, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Conduct system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain system integrity and performance.
- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and junior team members.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP implementation and support.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, and QM.
- Strong understanding of SAP integration with other enterprise systems.
- Proven experience in project management and leading SAP projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- SAP certification is a plus.
