Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Pratt Retail Specialties. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including machinery, motors, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspection, to prevent equipment failures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment performance and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical instrumentation, PLCs, and VFDs.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues, supervisors, and customers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with welding, fabrication, and machining.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Experience with electrical safety procedures and protocols.
