Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for using a press brake to shape, bend, cut, or punch metal parts according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set Up the Press Brake: Prepare the machine for production by reviewing blueprints, selecting appropriate tools, and determining the required working tonnage.
- Operate the Press Brake: Efficiently use the machine to bend, shape, or cut metal according to specifications.
- Inspect the Product: Conduct quality checks on finished products to identify defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain the Press Brake: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure the machine operates effectively.
- Ensure Material Availability: Monitor inventory levels and ensure sufficient raw materials are on hand for production needs.
- Maintain a Clean Work Area: Keep the work area organized, clean, and free from hazards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Metal Fabrication Specialist or in a similar role is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications or training in machine operation is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work in a loud environment and be exposed to dust, heat, cold, and vibration.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
