- Manage the day-to-day operations of the produce department, including receiving, stocking, and rotating produce.
- Ensure that all produce is handled and stored in a safe and sanitary manner.
- 24+ months retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership experience.
- Advanced knowledge of produce, including varieties, growing conditions, and handling procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
The produce department is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly and effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
