Position Overview:


Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning and Electrical is on the lookout for skilled Electricians who are committed to providing outstanding customer service in a supportive and family-oriented environment.

Our Electricians are responsible for executing a variety of electrical tasks, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and service upgrades, while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by treating clients with respect and care.

Key Requirements:
Valid TDLR LICENSE (Residential Wireman, Journeyman, or Master Electrician)

Responsibilities:

We Are Hiring Experienced Electricians

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues accurately and efficiently.

Perform repairs that meet or exceed National Electrical Code standards.

Enhance customer loyalty by maintaining a tidy work area.

Educate customers on appropriate upgrades that can be completed immediately or scheduled for later.

Provide accurate estimates and invoices for repairs and projects.

Document completed work with before and after photographs.

Adhere to safe working practices and methods.

Communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.

For Electrical Maintenance Technicians:

Learn to successfully execute electrical maintenance tasks while adhering to National Electrical Code standards.

Maintain a clean working environment to foster customer loyalty.

Gain skills in educating customers about suitable upgrades.

Document work with before and after photos.

Demonstrate safe working practices and methods.

Learn effective communication with all internal and external customers.

Qualifications:
Do You Have What It Takes?


A minimum of 2 years of experience in residential electrical wiring, repair, and troubleshooting, or 2 years in your current role.

Ability to interpret blueprints, install conduits, wire and terminate devices, conduct quality control testing, and troubleshoot effectively.

Familiarity with installing electrical systems in both new and existing settings.

Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.

Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver at least 75 pounds without assistance or special equipment.

Must be capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights on ladders and roofs.

Maintain a professional appearance and keep uniforms and work shoes clean.
