Golf Galaxy Retail Golf Equipment Sales Associate

At Golf Galaxy, we're passionate about growing the game of golf and providing exceptional customer service. As a Retail Golf Equipment Sales Associate, you'll play a critical role in helping golfers of all ages and abilities find the right equipment to improve their game.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service and guidance on selecting the right golf equipment.
  • Aid customers in finding the best golf services, including club fittings and repairs, to meet their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on all vendor equipment, including heads, shafts, and grips, to provide expert recommendations to customers.
  • Support store services sales by educating customers on the benefits of club fittings and repair services.
  • Make equipment and accessory recommendations tailored to each customer's needs.

Operations:

  • Assist in achieving store shrinkage goals by ensuring all merchandise is properly handled and accounted for.
  • Participate in merchandise sets, replenishment, and recovery processes to maintain established presentation standards.
  • Contribute to increasing store revenue and profitability through a proven process.

Other:

  • Promote Company programs, including ScoreCard loyalty and private label credit card enrollment.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain and participate in all recovery and cleanliness standards.
  • Create an inclusive in-store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.

Qualifications:

  • Golf industry experience preferred.
  • Golf fitting experience preferred.
  • Associates degree or technical diploma in the Golf industry preferred.
