Job Summary

The State of New Mexico is seeking a highly skilled Information and Records Clerk Advanced to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for assisting the Records Supervisor in logging and tracking all inmate release dates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize various computer software applications to manage records and data
  • Handle hard copies of inmate files and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with the Records Supervisor to ensure compliance with regulations and policies
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and six (6) months of work experience in customer service, records management techniques, and procedures
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite and records management software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Valid New Mexico Driver's License

Working Conditions

This position is designed to be safety-sensitive and requires the ability to work in an adult prison environment. The successful candidate will be required to work odd hours, overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
