ACS System Associates Inc. is in search of a skilled Estimator to become a vital part of our proactive Estimation Department.
We are on the lookout for an HVAC Estimator who will take charge of assessing bid specifications and schematics related to ductwork, piping, and ATC design for HVAC systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates for HVAC/R systems
- Collaborate with Operations to align on budgeting and strategic objectives
- Engage closely with Project Managers to ensure timely project execution
- Maintain an organized database of prospective projects
- Communicate effectively with vendors and subcontractors to identify cost-efficient solutions
- Analyze blueprints and accurately define project scope
- Negotiate Change Orders as necessary
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and sprinkler estimating
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Expertise in estimating software and tools
- In-depth understanding of estimating methodologies
- Professional demeanor, ethical standards, and ability to maintain confidentiality
