Job Title: Certified Hand Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Certified Hand Therapist to join our team at NovaCare Rehabilitation in Cambridge, MD. As a Certified Hand Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients with hand and upper extremity disorders.
  • Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs, including custom splinting and other interventions.
  • Maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients, and enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
  • Stay current with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) in your work.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school for Occupational or Physical Therapy.
  • Specialty certification or licensure in Hand Therapy.
  • National registration and state licensure or registration required.
  • Experience in custom splinting and hand therapy required.
  • CPR certification and valid state driver's license required.
