Job Description

Ryder is seeking a dedicated SOLO Non CDL Driver to join our team in Ontario, CA. As a driver with Ryder, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle within a 145-mile radius of Ontario, CA, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a vehicle within a 145-mile radius of Ontario, CA
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and customer service standards
  • Load and unload freight as required by the customer
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Maintain accurate records of driving hours, fuel consumption, and other relevant data
Requirements:
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Minimum of 9 months of verifiable driving experience
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Must have verifiable driving experience in like equipment
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Must have a valid driver's license
