Patient Care Technician - Dialysis

Join ICONMA as a Patient Care Technician - Dialysis and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. As a key member of our dialysis team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines
  • Support the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide patient-specific education and support
  • Conduct vascular access evaluations and perform cannulation as delegated
  • Monitor patients' response to dialysis therapy and report any concerns to the registered nurse or supervisor
  • Document patient information accurately and timely
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. required
  • 1 year of Dialysis Patient Care Technician experience in the last 2 years
  • Must meet Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)-approved state and/or national certification requirements
