Job Overview

Visium Resources is seeking a skilled Test Technician II to join our team. As a Test Technician II, you will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting various electronic assemblies under the direction of the group leader and with general supervision.

The ideal candidate will have over 1 year of experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting, with a strong understanding of production test equipment and procedures. You will be responsible for working from blueprints, assembly drawings, schematics, assembly routing sheets, wire lists, process specs, and verbal instructions to perform complicated electronic testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies using production test equipment and procedures.
  • Work from blueprints, assembly drawings, schematics, assembly routing sheets, wire lists, process specs, and verbal instructions to perform complicated electronic testing.
  • Interpret test data and identify unusual performance variations.
  • Assist project engineering department in modifying test processes.
  • Perform general assembly tasks, including printed wire board assembly, conformal coat touch up, potting touch up, ultrasonic cleaning, evacuation, and backfill, wire wrap, and component forming.
  • Attain and maintain electrostatic discharge, explosive handling, general wire, and printed wire board soldering certifications as required by program or process.
  • Remain flexible and willing to work in various work cells depending on company need.
  • Support company initiatives, including ISO 9000 and statistical process control (SPC), to ensure continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and products.
  • Document and record results of completed testing and repairs products.

Requirements:

  • Over 1 year of experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of production test equipment and procedures.
  • Ability to work from blueprints, assembly drawings, schematics, assembly routing sheets, wire lists, process specs, and verbal instructions.
