Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician I to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a Medical Laboratory Technician I, you will play a critical role in performing routine lab tests under the direction of senior laboratory personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine lab tests under the direction of senior laboratory personnel
  • Conduct quality control analysis to ensure accuracy of clinical data and proper instrument function
  • Review and enter test results into the Laboratory Information System for standardized report to be generated for physician review and interpretation
  • Maintain laboratory areas and equipment in a safe, functional, and sanitary condition
  • Participate in government or regulatory agency inspections, if needed
Requirements
  • Previously qualified as a Technologist under 42 CFR published in March 14, 1990
  • One (1) to three (3) years of clinical experience preferred
  • Ability to stand and work at the bench for long periods of time
  • Knowledge of organizational/departmental policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Laboratory Information Systems
