We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. As a key member of our respiratory care department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of respiratory therapists to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of respiratory therapists in providing patient care and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Conduct quality audits and provide feedback to team members to improve performance.
- Participate in departmental committees and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program.
- Current RRT certification and licensure in the state of Texas.
- At least 4 years of experience as a respiratory care practitioner, with 2 years of experience in ICU, neonatal, and/or ER settings.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
