Perioperative Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Perioperative Nurse to join our team at Dartmouth Health.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our 8-bed Same Day Surgery unit. This includes admission and discharge of surgical/procedural patients, conducting nursing admission assessments, and providing Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia care.

• Conduct thorough nursing admission assessments to ensure patient safety and well-being
• Provide Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia care to patients
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
• Develop and implement individualized patient education plans
• Utilize strong assessment, IV, and patient education skills to deliver exceptional patient care

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice
• Strong assessment, IV, and patient education skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize patient care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• PACU/ICU experience preferred

Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with call required
