We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neuro ICU team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Neuro ICU
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medications, and treatments
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and care coordination
- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
- Current NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification
- American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
