About the Job

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic II to join our team at our Fredericksburg, VA location. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • ASE certification or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and tools
