Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Lewy Physical Therapy. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with a variety of orthopedic diagnoses, with some focus on the geriatric population, a small number of neuro patients, and some stroke patients. Our ideal candidate is a passionate empathic team player with skills in manual therapy. New grads are welcome and mentorship is available.

Responsibilities:

The Physical Therapist hired will be responsible for providing customized treatment programs and individualized patient care. The candidate will work with a caseload of approximately 60 patients per week, with a focus on general orthopedics. The clinic is open Monday - Friday, with a schedule similar to the following:

Monday: 7am - 7pm, or 7am - 4pm

Tuesday: 8am - 5pm

Wednesday: 7am - 7pm, or 7am - 4pm

Thursday: 8am - 5pm

Friday: 8am - 1pm

Benefits:

Physical Therapists are paid a competitive salary based on experience and specialty certifications. A brand-new grad can expect to receive a yearly salary in the ballpark of $75,000. The compensation package will increase based on the experience of the candidate hired. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, paid holidays, retirement plan, continuing education, tuition reimbursement, license renewal, and APTA membership. Tuition reimbursement / student loan repayment is $7,500 for the first year and subsequent years will be negotiable based on the needs of the candidate hired.

Requirements:

Graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (or equivalent standing). Eligible for Louisiana state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered. Prior experience is not required. New Grad PTs are welcome. Must be legally able to work in the United States without restriction.
