Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Arkansas Heart Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in radiology technology and be certified in cardiovascular invasive procedures.

Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and other related procedures.
Insert small catheters through a needle into the blood vessels and into the heart so that X-rays, angiograms, and other recordings can be taken to determine the heart's structure and function.
Assist physicians with patient monitoring during surgery or procedures.
Document evaluation results, progress reports, and other data using appropriate EMR system.

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program required.
Current Arkansas Department of Health Radiologic Technologist license, current American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification, and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) is required.
BLS certification required within 30 days prior to completion of orientation. ACLS required within 6 months of employment.
Minimum of one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.

Work Environment:
The Cardiovascular Technologist will work in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills. The ideal candidate will be able to respond to the facility within 30 minutes during after-hours and weekend call shifts.
