Responsibilities
  • Compound and dispense prescribed medications in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Provide accurate and timely advice to physicians and health practitioners on medication interactions and side effects.
  • Proactively review prescriptions for proper dosage and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed and patient information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • License as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Alabama.
  • One year's experience as a pharmacist in either a hospital or retail pharmacy setting (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
