Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PACU RN to join our team at Incredible Health in the Hollywood, FL area.

About the Role:

This per diem opportunity offers flexibility for experienced nurses to work night shifts, providing immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients. As a PACU RN, you will be responsible for monitoring vital signs, managing symptoms of anesthesia, and administering prescribed medications.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring seamless transitions from the operating room to discharge home
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management and wound care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or similar high-acuity setting preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems
