Position Overview:

The Operations Supervisor at Tiffany & Co. is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of team members, providing coaching and development, and managing performance metrics. The Supervisor is accountable for all activities within their designated areas, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met or surpassed. They are expected to execute operational tasks within established timelines and guidelines, adhering to company procedures and external compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Development -Support team performance by clearly communicating job expectations and systematically planning, monitoring, and evaluating job outcomes. Assist in the development, coordination, and enforcement of systems, policies, procedures, and productivity benchmarks.

Direct and manage team performance through the use of reporting tools and daily observations; provide continuous feedback; encourage employee growth and sustained improvement while promoting the company's cultural values and fostering a culture of accountability. This includes, but is not limited to, productivity, accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Business Execution -Assist the Manager by undertaking related responsibilities. Identify strategic objectives by collecting relevant business, financial, service, and operational data. Achieve organizational goals by taking ownership of new and diverse requests and exploring opportunities to enhance job performance.

Employing Six Sigma methodologies, conduct root cause analysis and work towards resolving issues by proposing effective solutions. Maintain robust internal and external controls over product flow, ensuring that established goals and timelines are met or exceeded.

Administrative responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining departmental documentation, employee records, and ensuring that internal standard operating procedures are updated and reviewed as necessary.

Health & Safety Commitment -Actively engage in creating a safe and healthy workplace for the team, in compliance with governmental standards and internal policies. Provide immediate, specific, and constructive feedback to any employee who violates safety protocols or exhibits unsafe work practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • A college degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of distribution, logistics, or warehousing.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification is advantageous.

Shift Details:

Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
