Equipment Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Superintendent to join our team at Weeks Marine. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all maintenance, repairs, assembly, and modifications for assigned heavy civil construction equipment.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance, including experience in one or more of the following equipment classes: cranes, piling & drilling equipment, and/or auxiliary equipment. Additionally, they will have 1+ years of supervisory experience and the ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
The Equipment Superintendent will be responsible for preparing maintenance and capital budgets for assigned equipment, enforcing company standard operating procedures, and monitoring schedule and budget on active equipment work. They will also be responsible for ordering parts and scheduling vendor services, overseeing equipment maintenance records, and conducting frequent jobsite visits and inspections.
The successful candidate will be a strong leader who can promote safety as the top priority by enforcing the company and jobsite safety plan, along with all safety-related regulations. They will also be responsible for supervising and developing skills of assigned maintenance personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare maintenance and capital budgets for assigned equipment
- Enforce company standard operating procedures
- Monitor schedule and budget on active equipment work
- Order parts and schedule vendor services
- Oversee equipment maintenance records
- Conduct frequent jobsite visits and inspections
- Supervise and develop skills of assigned maintenance personnel
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift or carry miscellaneous equipment, supplies and parts up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat and lift for long periods of time
- Ability to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways and work from platforms
- Must be capable of working outside in the elements including but not limited to the heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind; and must be able to work for periods of up to 12 hours a day

- Regular, reliable attendance
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
- May work at various different locations and conditions may vary
Base Compensation: $99, $124,494.00
