Key Responsibilities

 

  • Customer Service

Provide excellent customer service at the bakery counter and other areas as needed.

Bakery Operations

Ensure the daily baking of goods based upon production guidelines.

Visual Merchandising

Set and maintain baked goods case and sales floor to include product, signage, and rotation for freshness.

Sanitation and Organization

Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and overall organization of the department.

 

Requirements

 

  • Previous Experience

Previous experience baking or cooking in a restaurant, bakery, or catering environment is preferred.

Customer Service Experience

Experience working in a retail and/or customer service-oriented environment is preferred.

 

Environmental Conditions and Physical Demands

 

  • Fast-Paced Environment

Works in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service.

Cold Temperatures

May work in environments of extreme cold.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat, push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads, and stand and be on one's feet during the workday.
