Key Responsibilities- Incident Reporting: Generate detailed written reports regarding security-related incidents, including customer, employee, and facility-related incidents.
- Security Monitoring: Monitor and maintain the security department's radio communication system, as well as all alarm systems on property.
- Emergency Response: Communicate with all departments and security personnel to ensure security preparedness in the event of an emergency or other situation requiring immediate attention.
- Log Maintenance: Maintain accurate and thorough logs of all incoming and outgoing information.
- Dispatch and Coordination: Dispatch security personnel and emergency medical technicians to various areas of the property as needed.
- Lost and Found Management: Maintain a lost and found system to ensure the safe return of lost items.
- Facility Knowledge: Maintain a working knowledge of the company's facilities and special events to advise guests and employees accordingly.
- Employee Management: Ensure that all security employees are rotated sufficiently and that their required breaks are adhered to.
- Customer Service: Ensure a maximum level of customer service and satisfaction throughout the property.
- Information Flow: Facilitate the flow of information throughout the property by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
- Attendance and Accountability: Maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
- Key Management: Maintain a series of keys, accessing locked areas as necessary.
- Age Verification: Accept identification from all persons who appear to be under the legal age to ensure compliance with state and federal gaming regulations.
- Vehicle Operations: Operate company vehicles as directed.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of six months in security, emergency response, or dispatch preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills required.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations.
