Cabin Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Cabin Counselor at Camp Lakewood, YMCA of the Ozarks.

• Oversee the cabin units and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for campers.
• Assist with check-in and checkout of campers, and ensure timely arrival and departure to and from all scheduled activities.
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of Camp Lakewood grounds and facilities, with a focus on cabin areas.
• Assist campers in setting up cabins and bunks, and ensure proper use of facilities.
• Coordinate programs, including clinics, swim tests, campfire activities, meals, and other events.
• Ensure safety in all programs and report incidents in a timely manner.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be pursuing or have earned a Bachelor's Degree.
• Lifeguard and CPR/AED Certification preferred.
