We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Uptown Rental Properties LLC.

Salary

The estimated hourly wage for this position is $18-$22 per hour, offering a competitive compensation package.

Job Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the excellent standards of Uptown Rental Properties by addressing emergency maintenance requests, completing work orders efficiently, and ensuring open communication with residents and team members. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prioritizing and planning daily work orders in collaboration with the O&M Supervisor, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and skill requirements.
  • Completing diverse tasks such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, janitorial, preventative maintenance, landscaping, and more.
  • Communicating promptly and clearly with internal and external stakeholders regarding work progress and completion.
  • Serving as an on-site representative of Uptown Rental Properties, modeling professionalism and courtesy.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for residents during after-hours shifts, ensuring efficient response to emergencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in operations or maintenance within a residential or similar setting.
  • The ability to manage time effectively and complete high-quality work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanor.
  • Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.
  • The ability to lift and carry necessary materials, maintain physical endurance, and adhere to all safety standards.
