Maintenance Associate Job Description

Tex Best travel centers offer a unique workplace experience for our team members in Retail Convenience Stores. Our goal is to ensure our team members succeed in a fun, family-focused environment.

The Maintenance Associate is responsible for performing routine maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, and quickly repairing facility problems. They also clean and supply designated building areas as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of maintenance repair service requests.
  • Maintain and repair lighting systems, clean fixtures, and replace bulbs and lamps.
  • Monitor and coordinate control panels and thermostats to maintain standard working temperature.
  • Perform periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure they meet standards.
  • Clean, inspect, and repair broken machines or defective equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Assist other departments to ensure optimum service to guests.
  • Keep refrigerators and freezers organized and stocked with fresh products.
  • Clean and maintain the store's interior and exterior, ensuring trash cans are properly emptied and cleaned.
