We are seeking a proficient Estimator to contribute to our operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in evaluating project specifications, generating precise cost estimates, and facilitating the bidding process. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in excavation estimating and project oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and associated documents.
  • Generate accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop project schedules and timelines.
  • Establish relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
  • Oversee project costs and implement necessary cost control measures.
  • Conduct site assessments for estimating purposes.
  • Engage in pre-bid meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
  • Must reside in Maui and be able to commute between the office and job sites.
