We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Summerville Medical Center. As a Weekend Acute Care Physical Therapist PRN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to achieve patient goals and improve functional outcomes.
- Provide skilled physical therapy interventions to patients, including exercises, modalities, and education, to promote optimal recovery and independence.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions throughout the continuum of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
- Prioritize caseload and manage daily staffing needs to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of South Carolina.
- Previous hospital experience as a Physical Therapist preferred.
