Environmental Geologist

This role will support field activities associated with Environmental Site Investigations, Remediation, and monitoring activities in the New York City area.

• Apply environmental practices and company policies to support field activities.
• Conduct air monitoring, photo documentation, and follow work plan and safety plan requirements.
• Interact with employees, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients on project-related matters.
• Perform tasks such as air monitoring, groundwater sampling, drilling oversight, and soil sampling.
• Write investigation reports and logs.

• Minimum of 4-year degree in geology, environmental science, or similar field.
• 1-3 years of experience in air monitoring, groundwater sampling, drilling oversight, and soil sampling.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training (and up-to-date refresher) is preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certifications will be required to start.
