Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC/R Technician to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our refrigeration and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC/R equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on refrigeration and HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Manage refrigerant levels and parts inventory to ensure efficient maintenance and repair operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of parts and services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve maintenance and repair goals, and contribute to a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial HVAC/R maintenance or a related field.
  • Type I/Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program.
  • Mechanical license in city and/or state where job is located.
