About the Job

The Pacific Club is seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our exceptional team. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our members and guests during breakfast banquet events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all state and local laws and club policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed.
  • Set up and clean banquet rooms and serve banquets.
  • Provide immediate attention to all members and guests upon greeting them.
  • Take beverage orders and serve food in a specified station.
  • Pour and refill wine, coffee, water, and other beverages served with and after the meal.
  • Clear soiled dishes as needed.
  • Clean all assigned work areas in the kitchen and banquet areas.
  • Advises supervisor of any member or guest complaints as soon as they occur.
  • Assist in closing functions such as removing linen, bussing glasses, dishes, silverware, etc., and re-setting the room for the next function.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Fine dining experience and wine knowledge are preferred.
  • TB test & liquor license yellow card (upon employment).
  • The Pacific Club supports a DRUG-FREE work environment. Passing a drug pre-screening test is required for hiring.

Work Environment

The Pacific Club is a historical social club located outside of the Honolulu business district. We are known for our warmth of Aloha and excellence in hospitality. As a Banquet Server, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced professionals.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $17-19 per hour based on experience, plus a 2% pool of banquet food sales commission paid monthly. Part-time status, working 20 - 29 hours per week. Actual hours vary depending on time and duration of banquet events.
