Job Summary

Hammond School is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to serve as an Admission Counselor. This full-time exempt position is responsible for communicating the school's value proposition and working to execute the strategic plan to reach the school's enrollment goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the director in all aspects of enrollment management, including identifying, recruiting, assessing, enrolling, and retaining mission-appropriate students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across campus to ensure a seamless experience for families, including faculty, division heads, the business office, operations, and the head of school.
  • Interpret year-over-year admission statistics to help identify trends, project enrollment, and drive admission strategy.
  • Participate in the life of the school, supporting students and building relationships with families.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in education and/or admissions is preferred
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sense of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Proficiency with computers (Blackbaud Experience is a plus)
  • Sales and marketing skills
  • A customer service mindset
