About the Role

Huntingdon Behavioral Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing psychiatric and psychological care to individuals in need of diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions.

Our unique model of care involves assigning psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, psychiatrists, and/or psychiatric nurse practitioners to each facility, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and effective treatment. We are committed to helping patients achieve their highest level of functionality and independence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based treatments, including CBT, ACT, and DBT, to patients with mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and diagnostic testing to identify mental health conditions.
  • Develop and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in clinical psychology.
Requirements
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology.
  • Current, unencumbered Florida licensure.
  • Proficient in evidence-based treatments, including CBT, ACT, and DBT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License.
