We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Aramark. As a Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a high level of customer service, providing friendly and efficient interactions with guests, clients, and colleagues.
- Ensure all assigned areas, including ancillary and department spaces, are clean, neat, and sanitary, adhering to preventative maintenance procedures and departmental policies.
- Inspect and utilize judgment to determine the most effective cleaning techniques, following orientation guidelines.
- Operate housekeeping equipment and solutions efficiently and safely, as observed by supervisors.
- Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies, using germicides and sterilizing equipment, while employing universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials.
- Keep carts stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies, ensuring all chemicals are accurately labeled and equipment is in good working condition.
- Promote effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintaining professional conduct at all times.
- Assist in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department.
- Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and competence by adhering to component and departmental training commitments.
- Prior cleaning experience is preferred.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Effective communication skills are required to interact with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff.
- Ability to respond effectively to changing demands.
This role may require physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
