Job Summary

Ryder System Inc. is seeking a Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. As a Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods and materials to various locations. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods and materials to various locations
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
  • Maintain accurate records and logs
  • Load/unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
