HVAC Senior Technician

Job Summary:

The Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a skilled HVAC/Electrical Specialist to join our team in Courtland, AL. As a member of our Facilities team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the HVAC systems within our state-of-the-art engineering facilities. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, enabling our engineering team to achieve mission success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair, construct, install, troubleshoot, and maintain routine electrical systems and equipment

• Install, repair, or replace switch boxes, light bulbs, plugs, sockets, light fuses, and extension cords

• Disassemble motors, generators, and other equipment in preparation for repair

• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, inspect circuits and wiring for shielding and grounding, and test electrical equipment for safety and efficiency

• Use blueprints, drawings, layout, or other specifications, and electrical hand tools, and voltage-or-amperage measuring and recording devices

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in the specific aspects of the job

• Experience with HVAC compressors, including Helical (rotary screw), Reciprocating hermetic and semi-hermetic, standard hermetic scroll, and digital hermetic scroll

• Knowledge in troubleshooting all types of AC and DC HVAC control systems, including DDC and BAS

• Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a government security clearance at the Secret level
