Job Summary

The Computed Tomography Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of CT exams, including heads, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spines, and angio procedures. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and start IVs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams on patients, following established protocols and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CT technology and its applications.

Requirements

• ARRT (R)(CT) certification.
• Ability to work independently and start IVs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Working Conditions

The Computed Tomography Technologist will work in a busy hospital environment, with a 380-bed hospital and a very busy ER. The ideal candidate will be able to work 3rd shift, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Training and Orientation

The hospital offers a comprehensive orientation and training program for new employees, including a 2-day training program for CT technologists.

Contract Information

This is a 91-week contract position, with 40 hours per week guaranteed. The candidate will be required to work 3rd shift, weekends, and holidays as needed.
