Job OverviewThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in both general and orthodontic assisting, possess excellent customer service skills, and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. As the Lead Assistant, you will be responsible for multitasking and handling all tasks required to run the back office efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Assist dentists and orthodontists during procedures
- Perform iTero scanning proficiently
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Provide excellent chairside assistance and ensure patient comfort
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing educational information
- Support office operations and team members as needed
- Oversee and coordinate the back office operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general dental assisting
- At least 2 years of experience in orthodontic assisting
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Proficient with iTero scanning
- Proficient in Eaglesoft Software
- Exceptional customer service and bedside manners
- Ability to multitask and manage back office operations
- Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, and one Saturday per month
