Job SummaryWe are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work with our team in providing speech, language, voice, and swallowing services to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic ability, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations.
- Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
- Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans.
- Educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
- Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible.
- Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP) preferred.
