We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and oversight to licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants.
Key Responsibilities- Provide competent, evidence-based outpatient care to assigned patients
- Oversight of licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants, as appropriate to the setting
- Coordinate care focused on patient transition through the continuum of patient care
- Participate in directing the provision of nursing education, orientation, competencies, and quality improvement
- Support factors that impact customer satisfaction
- U.S. Citizenship
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant
- 1-2 years of primary care experience
Walking, bending, stooping, and some lifting in the direct care of patients. There may also be extended periods of sitting.
