Key Responsibilities:

  1. Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables, and weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes.
  2. Food Safety and Quality Control: Monitor food quality while preparing food, test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, and ensure that all food is handled and stored properly.
  3. Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  4. Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to achieve common goals, and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
